Chains of Command
Since I have since resigned to attend to more pressing issues in the world of RL, this realm as a result is under management of those vassal lordlings that have assisted me in the past with PDS's creation.

For matters concerning the Vagyr I will continue to serve as approving party.

In my current knowledge the following projects are underway:

1. PDS 7.2 "polishing" by SunTzu
2. PDS Second Era Hiigaran Navy World Setting material by Relaxation
3. PDS Second Era "V7.7" Hiigaran Navy Order of Battle by DanielHawking and Thorin

For item 2 above we are collaborating to produce novelettes depicting Hiigaran Navy special operations and Separatist Vagyr collaboration in the Post Invasion theatre of operations.

For item 3, Daniel and Thorin are matching my V7.6 Vagyr order of battle with an equivalent Hiigaran Navy (HN) one, using the same scripting templates.
7.6 Released
The latest version of PDS-AS has been released today. Check the downloads section for the 20mb full install along with the World Setting/Gameplay Guide .pdf which is 2mb in size.

As usual, comments and feedback on the forums.

You should however, be able to handle the new battlespace well enough, if you care to read the gameplay guide.

As for why it is released one week early - care to guess?

Note however that the Hiigaran Order of Battle for V7.6 is to be a community project, while I study the mechanics of a RTS-style AS version in the style of a Grand Campaign system.
World Setting for PDS-AS Universe
A nice huge manual on what is PDS-AS about, and how our ships are designed fought (versus the original PDS universe), is in progress.

The background chapters are all done, spanning 4300 words. Now for the gameplay guide and misc. stuff like ship concepts and such.

The prose and presentation could be said as based on the excellent World Setting pages on Drowtales.com.
PDS-AS Release 2 Completion (V7.6)
Deployment date is 10 Apr 06.

Order of battle has been finalised for V7.6, with the following ships successfully converted into the new "Second Era" universe.

Prince of Hiigara Tier III-J Fleet Defense Cruiser
XF-401G TwinEdge Avenger
Longinus II Assault Frigate
Moonlight Calamity Merchant Cruiser
Qwaar-Jet Evolved CA (Command ship, 262 Armada)

Hiigaran Arbiter V Medium Cruiser series presently in construction, officer-in-charge is Daniel Hawking.

Many destroyers in the 262 Armada order of battle will also benefit from emergency war refit programs in response to the appearance of Hiigaran Naval warships in the C42 theatre of operations. The Hiigarans have yet to deploy their Main Fleet vessels currently stationed in the Galactic Core, but even these second line ships prove to be devastating foes against 262 Armada's more primitive technology.

At the IVF planet of Rashid P-2, a pair of Prince of Hiigara IIIJs singlehandedly ensured the destruction of an entire destroyer task force...

In addition I would like to announce that there will be not two but FOUR race-specific fleets in PDS-AS, these are:

Hiigaran Navy 6th Fleet
Vagyr (Loyalists) 262 Armada
Independent Vagyr Federation
Resurgent Imperial Taiidani

From now until 7.6's release date I will be doing scenario construction, documentary writing, and liaison with the SSNT development team.
PDS-AS Release 2 WIP
