So, I saw a video of the PDS mod and it inspired me to reinstall this game. However, I have no idea how to set it up, and the instructions confuse me. Could someone give me step-by-step instructions on how to get this bad boy up and running? |

Make sure you have patched to 1.1. Extract the bits you've downloaded in to your homeworld 2 directory. Were did you put it? If its the normal c:\program files\seirra\homeworld2 You can paste this into a short cut. Properties and target. "C:\Program Files\Sierra\Homeworld2\Bin\Release\Homeworld2.exe" -overrideBigFile Edited by Mostly harmless on 04-11-2006 23:00 |

Is there any chance of us having a link on the downloads directory to the "HOW-TO SET UP PDS/NGCS ON PC---!READ BEFORE POSTING!" part of the forum. it just that people just don't seem to notice the CAPITAL LETTERS. OK i got all the pds files in the directory and all, and i set the target in the 2nd HW2 shortcut with -overrideBigFile at the end...one thing though, i dunno if it works cause i don't see an immediate difference, the menu in the game still looks the same and all, btw its updated to v1.1...so can anyone tell me what to expect or what i should do from here?
