Gamespy being a b***h
Ironwatsas
As you know, Relaxation has been exparamenting with his new Computer and taking PDS online, and I intend to do the same. But every time I go to Gamespy, it gives me this "CD key invalid" crap.

I have made it past this point in the past and got onto gamespy with the same CD key and the same copy of HW2 and good ole PDS (Though I haven't played online yet as at the time I hadn't figured out that I needed the exact same files as anyone else).

If anyone would be so kind as to help me out here it would be most appriciated?

Well, you shouldn't be able to play the actual game if your cd key is invalid. It makes sure your copy isn't pirated. The problem is probably in the gamespy server, and your cd key is unrecognized, even though it is valid. Its probably because of some weird glitch.

But what is the solution to this... Gamespy nightmare?

yeah, problem is Homeworld 2 has become something of a rarity. I haven't seen a copy anywhere but media play in, like, 3 years, and i think the entire Media play company went out of business...

Alright, before I go cutting into my monthly ammo budget, I'll try reinstalling HW2. If that doesn't work, than I'll look into a new copy.

EDIT: It works, Victory I say. I reinstalled HW2, Gamespy and PDS and now the thing lets me into Gamespy. Now I will volunteer my aid to testing out the new MP PDS functions. Thanks for any advice given weather it mattered or not.
