well... i'm new here, and i was interested in the mod... looks cool if i do say so myself, but thats getting off topic... now.. i dont have a problem with downloading it or installing it (yet!) as a matter of fact, i haven't even d/led it yet before i do, i'd like to ask about some thing(s)... now, i love to mod many games, including homeworld. mainly because there are a lot of cool-looking ones out there, as you know, namely this one. because of that, i prefer to use .BIG files, because i find them to be... err... much less.... risky, shall we say? lol. i already have one mod using the overrideBigFile command and i doubt a second would work. i heard that there was a .BIG version for this mod, yet i can't seem to find it anywere. (i know... its right in front of my face and i just dont know it) is there? and where? (preferable one with the latest version, but that doesn't matter as much to be) oh, yea, kinda late, but this seemed like the best section to post it in, sry if it isn't (it should be, though )

Download the Mac version. It's in .BIG format. |

It should not matter, functionality wise, to get the mac (compatible) version. However you won't get the more nifty stuff like 3D planets in maps since macs don't support them. This only applies to V7.6. All other versions should be identical between the PC and mac releases. |

You dont unzip the file. You add -mod nameoffile.big to the end of the shortcut target.

i was looking, and theoretically, i could turn the 7.6 file into a .BIG myself using UnfBig... maybe i'll experiment with it later
