Firstly I'd like to express how much I've been enjoying this mod. By far the best for HW2, and I've tried quite a few. Only a couple of problems, ... Firstly the beautiful custom badges don't seem to work. When I open up the badge selector when trying to skirmish, the application closes. I tried deleting the "[" and "]" in the badge file titles but it hasn't helped. Secondly, when I played the earlier Point Defense Systems (5.2, I think.) the fighter/corvette and missle trails were still intact. Now, the trails have disappeared completely. Any ideas? |

Trails were removed to reduce lag. Badges should work even if you're playing on a Mac. Make sure you did not forget any square bracket in any file name in both badges folders (the one in data and the other in bin). |

I even deleted all of the parenthesis, after trying without the brackets (which didn't work either.) and it still just closed the application immediately. |

What are the specs of your PC and what version of PDS are you playing? |

Ah I did not take the time to make 7.6 mac compatible. I'm not sure any other mac user did. So I can't help you immediately. There was a reported issue with the syntax of the missile weapon files (the mac version being much less flexible). I am not aware of any issues with the badges and I doubt there is, since the same badges do work on prior versions of the mod. But I don't know it for sure. I'll put my nose into the files at some time this week-end since there are less football games to watch now ![]() |

Yeah, if anyone can tell me how to get those things back in there that'd be awesome. I have a pretty high end pc so I would like to give it a try. Even though I must admit that a late game 4 way skirmish made my computer cry a couple of days ago :skull:. My cpu dislikes large numbers of strike craft ead:.

Mmm. Badges still don't work. I've tried (nearly.) everything. I guess most of you have very little input since I imagine you're mainly PC-based, but if any Mac-users got their badges to work, let me know please, ... |

I play HW2 on a mac. As I told you, badges work fine on my end if you remove square brackets from their names. If that don't work on your end, try isolating the problem adding one badge after the other into the folder and see which one(s) are buggy. |

Thanks a ton, Sun Tzu. Finally got them to work. Deleted the Mobile Suit Gundam and Real World Country flags/insignias since they used multiple colors. Worked perfectly. |
