Hey everybody i was just wondering if there was a big version of the mod. So i dont have to have seperate copies of homeworld 2 installed to play differnt mods. i understand with the upgrades coming out its hard to do but when you guys release version 7 please make a big version too. just installed hw2 yesterday again and was looking around for good mods and found pds again last time i used it was around version 3 or 4. |

You may download the 6.2 .big from this link. It is an emergency resource, scarcely used due to bandwidth issues. I will remove this link and change the file name, so please acknowledge Your download. The whole BIG file issue is absolutely ridiculuos. Not using big-files for Homeworld 2 Mod distributions is not user-friendly and causes much headache when less experienced users mess up their data-folders. Crap. When ever possible I will try to repack all files in to big-files when distributing from my resources. And put them in to a script that creates the relevant shortcut automatically. True, updates that are perhaps a few megabytes, can not be handled that way, and require a new, repacked, .big file, and it may therefore seem tedious for some to download the entire 65 MB for a 1 MB update, but I feel we can provide both. /Link removed/ The .big file in this package is named 6.2 due to a version confusion. But it is 6.1. I have presented this information, with mentioned script (applicable using WinRar selfexecutable), but the interest, to my absolute horrific surprise, is very low.
