For those (like me) who don't like spending time on research and the like before jumping at the enemy's throat, I've made a "simple" gamerule for quick and dirty deathmatches: http://files.filefront.com/Simple_gamerulerar/;4845899;;/fileinfo.html It just gives you all research upfront and a budget and time to compose your fleet before the action.
