It can only be described as the coolest thing or at least in the top 5 coolest things since the original Shamshiir or Liir Hra came out! In short "F***ing awesome". So when is it going to be ready, and what kinda armments and capabilities will it have? Please give some technical specs and armment list soon. |

HOLY SHIT !!! :bigeek:  :shy:  That's on a hell ship. It doesn't look very Taidanii in design, but it's very Taidanii in weapon philosophy (brutal). I'm looking forward to command this thing...thing... umh.... we need cool name ."Conqueror" or "Invader" fit to this ship. Edit: I don't know what would be better so maybe there could be two versions of this ship, one-missile Cruiser and secon-drone carrier. BTW we need tai drones now. guys this ship suggest that the taidaan faction will be inserted in v8.0? for the texture you will take old from other game o you create new? Edited by enterprise on 12-11-2005 12:28 to boldly go where no one has gone before

In the Original Homeworld, the Taiidan Missile Destroyer was called the Skaal-Fel, the Destroyer was Skaal-Tel, so perhaps the Skaal part means Destroyer. This could be the Skaal-Fel Evolved, or if it is Heavy Cruiser sized Qwaar-Fel. Or have I got naming conventions all wrong. Seems like it was years since I was last here

skaal was the name of an animal of taidan world: the male was the simple destroyer and the female was the missiles destroyer. see homeworld 1 manual for more details under ship section to boldly go where no one has gone before

I really like the staggered turret placement on the sides. If this is just a cruiser I think the Liihra has just been comprehensively outgunned. |

While the Taiidan presence is increasing, I think it a little optimistic to believe that the Imperial Taiidan Fleet will be revived in 8.0. I could be miss informed... |

By the gods, this is a lovely piece of art! I'd like BigFish/GP/El Mambo looking at this vessel, so contact BF and we'll work out a developmenal timeline and prototype blank HOD for this ship. |

This ship is actually still in the works. (The rear sections all blank!#@ O_O) I could provide a blank hull for preliminary developments and hod right now however. On a side note. I'd like to thank Inert, for his ideas and inspirations that gave birth to this vessel.

Heh, just a comment from my friend, he said it kind of looked like the Pillar of Autum from Halo, I said he was wrong, but that's his take on looking at it. As for a name, I put Skaal-Feist into the pot. All and all, it has a nice round design. -Fear the Might of the Imperial Cortharian Fleet

Earlier discussions regarding the nature of Taiidani names indicates they are more to the form of MiG25 "Foxbat" - a codename. Thus we will go with our own naming systems. Even if we have the term QJE accepted it is because of its resemblance in role and form to the infamous heavy cruiser. This "battle barge" here doesn't resemble the old destroyer at all. |
