Convenient place for Tel to peruse them. Mine: Define a primary photo gallery so we can post to it . (Or I may not be set up properly so I can see it.) |

Aye. I want a photo gallery. Also, less Blue and Gold Fleet (ferry for humans only in San Francisco Bay Area) or Cub Scout colors lolkthxbaihai2u. (That was one time only, I promise.) |

It would be nice to eventually have most of the options of the previous site, though I must agree with the guys above a picture gallery would be great, either way thus far I like the new site even in its unfinished state.![]() |

I activated the photo gallery on this site but I'm not sure about the upload access. |

I can't find out how to view new posts in a topic. Is it possible with this software? |

Uploading of PDS avatars would be nice, but I don't care about it any more ![]() ![]() |

lol yeah avatars would be great... And something that was mentioned in the other site was individual threads for each mission for the SP campaign. I was skeptical/retarded about it at first, but it is a great idea! |

Hehe zen..you and your screenies.. I was about to ask...does anyone know what that rating system on the old site was for? The one that you could view in you login page that said "points you have earned by participating in the sites content" what was that for? Was that "proper motivation"?? |

That was part of the PHPNuke system; you can apparently limit access to certain things or grant bonuses for doing certain things (posting, uploads, etc.) I never actually used it, and I didn't feel like getting rid of it for fear of breaking some dependency. There was a newsletter thingy too that I never got around to implementing. |

I suggest we type up a Site Fixes disco somewhere. As for the Gallery there are still some functions that have not been implemented. Ill do that. BUT! I would like to avoid a situation where I go doing stuff that Tel does not know about or have insight in. We require communication as to how to increase the Multiuser functionality of this site. I do however interprete Tels answer above that an Members Upload Function for a Gallery is wanted, so I go do that. Meanwhile, bear with us, considering what I typed above. Remember, this CMS software is subject to continous upgrades by the developer, that means we should avoid handcoding, and only use available, installable, functions as much as possible. |

Mmhmm, proceed on Gallery and you have my thanks, I'll also inform you occasionally on what I think may be good additions to the site as we grow it.

Suggest we move this thread to the new CMS forum. That's publically viewable and postable, yes? |

No not yet, but I will open it. It will serve a dual purpose. Inform on what we do, a log, and discuss issues and solutions for other stuff. Ok, I opened that up, in order to receive Your feedback and, perhaps, complaints. Members only. And I expand on some I wrote above, You may be a PHP code genius and we may very well see the use in some custom handcoded feature, BUT, for every handcoded line, upgrades will be more difficult and take more time. Instead I suggest that those interested, get over to the developer site, always listed at bottom of every page, and learn how to make Infusion scripts, that are not verily affected by the upgrading.
