I was kind of curious if someone could set up a battle between themselves as one race with PDS ships verses the same race in the stock version of HW2. While i am confident that the PDS version will win, I am curious how well the old navy would stand up to the new stuff. The reason why I am not doing this myself is that I have no idea how to do such a thing. |

heh... no contest. PDS ships have more health, do more damage, move faster, shoot missiles and much more. One CTH could concievably take on many squadrons of unchanged interceptors without a scratch. Then think of something bigger and better - like a shipyard.  Oh, and PDS ships regenerate health at a decent rate. They were not constructed in the same universe. The numbers aren't remotely close. |

Hmmm... I might actually give that a go. See if a single Deliverance can complete the SP campaign...
