Campaign Lvl 2 Broken

Posts: 2 Joined: February 16 2008	Ok, Let me see what I can get in here. Windows XP SP2 Homeworld 1.1 PDS 7.3.2 Mission 2 is completely messed up. When it gets to the "Load Level" part on the Loading screen it just exists the game completely (as if I Ended the Program in Task Manager). It does that whether I go to M2 from the Mission Screen, or if I beat M1 and try to let it load. My original Homeworld 2 v1.1 CAN play through the entire campaign just fine, and the disk is new and isn't messed up(I bought it like 1 week ago). If you need more information, just ask for it. Posts: 24 Joined: January 06 2008	Well, yes, this bug is quite old. No, I do not have any idea what triggers it. Though, I advise to try an older version 7, as I remember to have had a fine working campaign... somewhen in the past (I guess, it was 7.2, but my mind is wiggly). ^^ Edited by LordZsar1 on 28-02-2008 07:37

Posts: 17 Joined: November 19 2008	I was under the impression that you couldn't have two versions of the mod at the same time... does this mean if I want to play the campaign I will have to delete 7.3 and download 7.2? Thanks in advance!

Posts: 97 Joined: May 28 2008	what i did is copy-paste all the HW2 files into another program folder labeled "Tel", rename the HW2 folder "PDS V. XX" and install the mod there. i currently have Vanilla, V.7, and V.11 installed. Ford, I don't mean to alarm you, but there are an infinite number of monkey's outside and they want us to go over their screenplay for Hamlet.

Posts: 17 Joined: November 19 2008	Slightly off topic, but what is the primary difference between v7 and v11? I thought the real difference was that v7 was the only version that could play the campaign. Can v11 be used for this?

Posts: 2598 Joined: August 30 2005	I'm not exactly sure but it does seem to load fine from the main menu after it crashes. No idea why it does.
