-From the weapon file vgr_AC90-vb- StartWeaponConfig(NewWeaponType,"Gimble","Bullet","smallcannontracer","Normal",1800,6000,0,0,0,0,1,1,0,4,0,0,0,0,60,30,0.1,"Normal",0,0,0) I'm using this as an example. The 1800 number is the projectile's speed. This means it moves at 1800 KM/sec. The 6000 number is the weapon's range. This means it can fire this projectile from 6000 KM from the target. The 4 number is the cooldown. This means it takes the weapon 4 seconds in-between shots before being able to fire again. Edited by Tristan on 25-10-2007 22:07 |

ok i tried editing that second number and the range stays exactly the same, the ship won't fire until its within the same distance, whether the second number is 6000 or 600000000.... what am i doing wrong? i tried the SBAs and the vaygr bb's torpedoes and neither worked.... |

I don't know, but you are doing something wrong. Either you're modifying the wrong file or you're making unrealistic numbers. Or you're not saving. |

No You are scripting the range right. im not sure but i think the actual projectile FX file needs to be changed. I myself would love to know what to do. in PDS V7.3 the max Range is 6000 meters
