Subject: Confirmation of equipment classes

Location: HN Ross Island CV-104, Moffat Dust Bank, New Colorado sytem

I belive that we may have a bit more information on this advanced equipment that has appeared on Vaygr starships in our AO. Analisis of the abnormal emmissions and wreckage that survived the Nuclear detonation of the ship's drives leads us to belive that the Hyperspace sensors were of Taiidani origin, specifically Valariin Space Systems Type-300 QWSA modules on the dorsal hardpoints. These units are typically used on 'Kara-Shi' class recon frigates and send intense quantum pings, which act much like Radar, and may cause quantum distortions like the one my fleet hit.

If you can confirm that any equipment of significance is onboard any Vaygr ships is of Taiidan origin, then please relay these to me. Please include model type, manufacturer, serial number, and additional relevent data on how these were configured into the Vaygr ship's systems. That way, we can have InOps H4X corperate records and see if they can find sales data and other intel.

After our Deep Recon Team (DEP) Confirmed the position of the Shipyard and reported a Force estimate, we started calibrating our hyperdrive. The calibration was completed 20min later, and the convoy of marine frigates and reinforcement arrived. Although there where some formation issues, because of Nalthoran-IVF tensions, everything went smoothly. We moved into position to intercept the two Vaygr carriers and escorts. They where destroyed in 1.4 minutes under heavy capital grade firepower (we would destroy them sooner but the fighters where hard to track in a dense particle cloud. After they where taken care of, hyperspace positioning and preparations where conducted.

At 1803 hours local time we pushed decoy probes into hyperspace trough quantum wave induction and our heavy combatants jumped shortly afterwards followed by lighter and fire support vessels as well as the marine frigates. The Majiirinars jumped first since their armor can adsorb the most damage. My flagship jumped seconds after the Majiirinars. The Decoys failed miserably (probably due to advanced sensors on the Shipyard able to detect ship wave by the quantum front generated upon hyperspace entry). The Majiirinars where badly scared. One lost a SBA and another the forward ion cannon.

As soon as ships arrived they launched strikecraft. The marine frigates where penultimate in, followed by the IVF Spahi light frigates. The 2 15th fleet's POH Protected the marine frigates with a pancake formation (the 2 Cruisers take positions above and below and then move into a tight formation) The Tirrar, a POH, protected the outer flank, and the Relentless the one exposed to the bulk of the Vaygr forces. We slowly limped to the shipyard maintaining tight formation, escorted by a dozen Blade Interceptor and under covering fire by the Dominator. The Sajuuk' ka supported the frigates as they made their way to cover the fighter launch bays and attempted to halt the launch of Vaygr fighters, while other maneuver combatants circled the battlespace intervening where needed. The Light Strikefighters, Thunderbolts and Lavis preformed strafing runs on the shipyard, attempting to take out it's external weapons.

After several minutes of approach we disengaged formations and let the marines do their job. On by one the Frigates boarded the side of the shipyard, ravaged by bombardment and strafing runs. The Relentless and 2 POH took up perimeter while the Tiirar remained at point-blank range ready to both defend the Marine frigates and to support the marines with shipboard firepower. Ten minutes after docking the Beacon was ours, 15 minutes after the ship, that was then confirmed to be the Archangel, was secured.

Twenty minutes after boarding the situation outside was slowly calming down. The marines inside asked authorization to advanced to the bridge. Moments after a massive blast shook the shipyard and vaporized several strikecraft unlucky enough to be near the aft section of the shipyard. The marines quickly called in and said that a sabotage attempt was foiled. Indeed the damage could have been much grated hadn't the marines promptly initiated Generator lock-down procedures.

Almost an hour after the beginning of the assault, the main battle ended. we set up a perimeter around the shipyard to intercept any Vaygr ships answering the distress call. Marine frigates ferry prisoners to detention facilities on board the capital ships and the shipyard itself is under our firm control.

The loses have been significant, mainly caused by the Vaygr Assault cruisers, and the occasional use of anti-matter torpedoes. Many casualties where suffered also by the boarding party due to heavy internal security on Vaygr capital and Super-capital ships. However a thing happened that makes me believe in a brighter future. When the IVF Carrier came under attack by two Assault cruisers the first ship to respond was the Nalthoran Bakotonyr destroyer Vode an. To see Nalthorans and IVF working together was priceless. They later returned to hate each other requesting to be put on different sides of the perimeter, but still, a good sign.

Speaking of Anti-matter torpedoes, here is the part which might interest you Admiral Watsas. A part of the Marine survey team report:

Report on cargo bay number 098
-Location: Midship, near the frigate exit point, Level 90
-Status: Medium damage due to Fusion Generator failure
-Cargo: ...
-cca. 25 containers containing Valariin Space Systems Type-300 QWSA modules
-cca. 80 containers containing 24 Anti-matter torpedoes each

I don't mind the Taiidan giving Outdated and even antique technologies to the Vaygr, but giving State-of-the-art QWSA modules and anti-matter torpedoes is another matter. I don't like this, I don't like this one bit.

Anways Nord Kavagrad is mostly clear. Again Recon operation are being conducted to determine the possible presence of additional Vaygr forces in this System. I would also like to express my gratitude to admiral Seraphim who drew out the Vaygr in the Rings of the second planet and prevented them from immediately assisting the shipyard.

Sajuuk has been compassionate today, and I also bet Qwaar-Jet is pleased. To Victory my fellow Hiigarans.

Well I'd like to congradulate you on your attacking and destroying the Vaygr fleet, but the presance of Imperial Taiidan technology that they Tend to keep firmly under their belts. If you can, please disarm and recover the Antimatter warheads, but don't take any unnessicary risks. Also, I'd like you to check any survivors and find out if any of them are of Taiidan origin and highten interrogation protocol to Juliet-Echo-Foxtrot-Foxtrot. Keep them alive and intact.

I'd also like to point out that my fleet has found and recovered a number Valariis type proximity sensors in the system with military grade Nebula sensors. This is likely not a co-incedence and markings and transmission logs lead me to belive they are not of Turanic origin. There may be a more direct Imperial presance in this theatre.

This is backed up by the very Imperial-esque tactics used by the unidentified Vaygr clan, with massed corvette-frigate echilons and fighters used primarily as armed flank forces. There may be Imperial advisors within the Vaygr forces, and if this is true, we must find and interrogate them.

I will consult Admaral Ko'malak on this matter, as he has studied Imperial tactics heavily during his time an an advisor within the Republican Taiidan Navy.

Admiral Nabaal.. There is a notation of the Archangels sister ship, the HGN Hope which is still in the registry, you can find data on it here,

http://www.pds.homeworldaccess.net/forum/viewthread.php?forum_id=4&thread_id=615
(4th from the bottom, "wraith class super bbx")

If the vaygr have it, it would be a very bad situation.. I've found three possible places it could have been but there wasn't anything there. If they DO have that thing lurking around, we could really have a big fight on our hands and possibly lose.. it was meant to cut a swath of death by itself. It fought along side the Pride of hiigara in the war with makaan and destroyed more ships than most other class types combined, it was made to kill foes, space supremacy..

That ship would rip mine apart and frankly it scares my crews wildly.. A stealth Super battleship.. LUCKILY if it is vaygr controlled.. they probobly are so ignorant they just have the engines going at 10%.. so... praise be to our cause!

However, we have a problem and Admiral watsas I am encouraging you and Admiral Donitere to arrive quickly.. I'm not sure if you got my earlier message about this whole keeper thing but just a few hours ago we found what seemed to be an asteroid repair facility.. Sure, an obvious thing, but it had docked with it, our little bastard culprit.. that keeper ship. It wasn't a keeper ship but a mere replica and it had a very sofisticated AI but poor construction... However we have a file that was almost hastily erased, operation, "Sajuuks fury." If translated right ofcourse.. it tells of a large ship that they, "found." but I don't think it was our elusive Archangel but something worse, perhaps something... ancient. It speaks of "A vessel not of progenitor origin." And "drives requiring no thrust." I was reading into this subject and found the whole Somtaaw thing years back.. A ancient ship with, Interialess drives.. Perhaps our taiidan friends which helped repair those drives gave our enemies something a little too powerful?

I've encountered numerous scouting platforms but none were armed so I've not been engaged at all.. I assume I've been tailed by numerous vaygr ships but are ignoring them until we reach a small dust cloud group near nord kavagrads third planet, there we intend to circle round and suprise them..

We really need to stop this vaygr research at all costs..

Location: HMNS Kasiakh BSGV-22

Greetings Hiigaran Fleet persons, I am Admaral Ko'malak of the Nalthor. I am doing the theororising of the Watsas Admaral person and speaking of evil Imperial Taiidan fleet people. I donot speek Hiigaran very goodly so I will make this talk short.

Taiidan seem wanting to inshure are defeat in this battle, and far seeing Proximity Sensors are old, but good at seeing the spaceships through clouds and nebulas. Vaygr seem to be puppets in the Taiidan War against our fleet and Taiidan want to use the Vaygr as forces to do dirty work before Taiidan come to take over and give Vaygr some moneys and technologys.

This aslo why Taiidan give to Vaygr antimatter exploding missiles and Hyper Space sensors to let them kill more of us. That Bad. We should find the Taiidan that tell Vaygr what to do and make themtell us why they are planning for doing...

Now we think that the Black and Pink painted ships that are smarter are not Vaygr or Taiidan but have Taiidan leading or paying for who is. I dont no who is flying smart Vaygr ships. Ships pretend to be Taiidan and want us to think thay are pretending to bee Vaygr. We still want to know who is flying.

Watsas sayd to try and capture pink spaceships and learn who is flying them and then tell Stratcom pricks (Watsas said to call them that, what means?) and then we know what Taiidan are doing.

Also to look for real Taiidan ships in battle, they may be responsible for this things. So we will solve the Mystery.

Thank you for hearing me. I say more if you need to ask me. And sorry for not talking Hiigaran good, But I not allowed to talk to translaors because of this is all secret. Bye

OOC: FinalSeraphim, I have recovered the Archangel reed the last AAR, second Nord Kavagrad has 2 PLANETS, and third please keep this Hiigaran and allies vs Vaygr and allies. I don't mind progenitor replicas in very small number, but more-ancient-then-prog. ships with inertialess drive that pwns everything is just too much. Please let it be of Bentusi origin.

Location: Orbit of Nord Kavagrad's Largest Planet, Vaygr Shipyard Position on Lagrange Point 01

Sir, we are continuing the investigation of the shipyard. The Archangel, is, well... more Vaygrish. They made quite a few ''improvements'' including plasma beams and torpedo launchers. The Phased Array Cannon is a mess, working at 20% efficiency. There are also indications of ant-matter damage on the hull, our engineers found residual toroid particles on some impact points.

The torpedoes where Taiidani alright. With Valarin tech guiding systems and magnetic containment fields. We also found some older Taiidani stuff around the shipyard including the engine section of a Kudark assault frigate, although slightly upgraded.

The shipyard logs have been destroyed, most of the Vaygr military personnel is dead (either suicide or in combat with our marines). The interrogation of surviving military personnel yielded no results. However results came from an unexpected source: A Vaygr merchant informed us that a few days a go a ship colored in Black and Pink. It looked like a Mou'akir but: ''It had a big gun on the top and bottom''. I am forced to believe we are dealing with a 'Star Centurion' and whit a stronger Taiidani presence.

Their base of operation have to be located in order to assure the success of this mission. Our Recon missions found nothing except sporadic Vaygr activity, but they will keep searching.

My forces assigned to investigate the alleged Research ship position in the Bastongrad system have returned. They report there was no sign of the Vaygr research ship, however Vaygr equipment has been found in the area as well as numerous progenitor ruins and what appears to be a massive cannon that seems to be the victim of an attempt at forceful removal. The research team should have their hands busy.

My forces have recently encountered a Turanic outpost in the system and we've engaged and destroyed the Turanic Guard Fleet and boarded the outpost. From what we've gained, the Raiders are not allied with the Vaygr and have had several skirmishes, usually resulting in Vaygr victory. The Turanics seem to see us as the lesser of two evils in this regard. I belive we can use this to our advantage, but I still do not trust the Raider's good intentions.

Anyone encountering Raider ships should only shoot if shot at unless I order it. By this point, most of the Raiders in the system should be aware of this.

TASK GROUP STATUS: Maintaining CAP buffer around Raider base.

Our Forces have traced the Turanic Raiders to this location which is as far as we know, one of three major bases in the system. The Base itself is a simple Prefabricated modular Base similar to those encountered in the Kyori and Arldilae systems. We tracked them by studying the logs from the Vaygr proximity sensors, which we now belive were put in place specifically to monitor the Raiders.

Our Carrier group emerged roughly 22,000km from the base and secured the area, launched probes, and deployed resourcers into the local cluster. The dust and asteroids made it impossible for our frigates to detect the Turanic base, but we did send a transmission demanding surrender on Raider channels. In standard Raider fasion, they activated a Gravwell field, and deployed their forward units in a 'Trident' pattern (A central echilon of Assault and Ion Array Frigates flanked on either side by A large group of strikecraft.).

We broke up their fighter squadrons at maximum range with Nuclear missiles and pumelled their frigates with Beams and Kites. Only a few fighters made it through our CIWS envelope and one torpedo hit the Lycan and caused one of it's autocannon turrets to jam.

Once we beat back their assault, we began advancing in a shock attack. Our Frigates were leading the charge, and occassionally we ran across small fighter groups which attempted to ambush our group. We also encountered Thief corvettes using Mimic fields, these were significantly harder to detect outside visual range given the Dust cloud's scattering effect. However, we learned to watch the dust wake of any nearby asteroids to try and pick the Mimics out.

The second encounter with the Raiders was another Fighter wave backed up by an Elyassian built missile frigate. The Frigate was flanked by LSFs and destroyed while the fighters were ripped up by concentrated fire from our Frigates. After which point two Ion Array Frigates crawled out from behind a nearby asteroid and tried to make a run on the Loa. This failed as the Cruiser's escorts easily tore up the Raider Frigates.

The Raider outpost was teathered on the far side of a larger then average asteroid (surrounded by smaller asteroids which limited our potential safe approach angles) which was itself covered with gun emplacements. The remaining Raider Frigates tried to cover the Entrances to the asteroid base, and the Gun platforms were creating quite a bit of flak in the local area.

We deployed our heavy combatants to engage the Raider frigates, and dispatched Bombers to fly close to the Asteroid's surface to kill off the more dangerous emplacements. Some of our Blades acted as armed decoys and the Ross Island moved into range to launch Kites. The Raider defence quickly fell apart and we began hitting the Station and the Raider attack carrier.

Say what you will about Turanic technology and equipment, but this Carrier commander was extremely compitent in her manuvering within her ship's capabilities, staying close to the Asteroid's surface and firing missiles into our fighter screen, scoring several hits on our Blades. however, there was no avoiding the Loa's Guns and the Carrier was disabled and later boarded.

The Raiders then sent an uncoded transmission and effectively surrendered to our forces. Several gun turrets and fighters refused to stop firing and were dispatched, but the rest of the Pirate force surrendered on spot.

After this, we boarded the Raider ships and took prisonersand downloaded their databases. This intel has yet to be fully decoded, but we belive that it will prove invaluble in the near future. This base has a sizable civilian population and our fleet will remain on station to provide security and aid. However, we will need additional personell and supplies ASAP. Our search of the Raider base is incomplete and we still have to interrogate the Raider commanders and fully assemble their databases, as the Raiders keep much of their important documents seperate from their mainframes.

second planet anyway but I was watching a documentary on the discovery about planets and such, Two, The progenitor thing was speculation.. think of it this way, It may not be very likely for vaygr to get that technology but as a hiigaran admiral, It is of the upmost importance to take any lead seriously.. I mean, did anyone think makaan had a dreadnaught? no.. did anyone think makaan had giant planet killers? no.. So ANYTHING found is top priority.. and it's not very unreasonable for opponents to try and replicate Technologies found during old wars, especially technology that's older and still more advanced than your advesaries. Three, The archangel, Is not found.. The archangel doesn't even exist in this galaxy anymore, me and watsas RP'd it a while back and the start of my "northern frontier" explained that two years ago it, controlled by a highly dangerous beast infected individual, escaped the system, thus my conversation about the battle and fleet that was lost there two years ago...

Well, I've recieved telemetry from probes launched yesterday... Nothing, nothing at all. I've still been trying to figure the whole droneship out, and it was controlled by a small crew of ten, so we have it working and en-route to our rear locations for inspection and such to determine its threat level and if there's any information about any others they might have built.

Onto more pressing matters, I have Admiral Nabaals fleet on longrange Lidar and I assume he has mine on lidar as well, I was trying to lure what seemed to be hyperspace signals that appeared behind us but most likely it was fleeing vessels from earlier. So I've brought my ships out of hiding and I do concur with Admiral nabaal that nord kavagrad is clear of hostiles, for the most part.

I've looked around the reports from boarding parties of that vaygr asteroid base and found some interesting reports from a taiidan admiral, "Latirout." I believe he may be behind these vaygr incursions but all I've found was the name... and one purchase of a Taiidan corvette squadron to a unnammed "mercenary" group, which I believe to be vaygr regulars...

So, I guess it's not really a problem anymore and the HGN Kimov is fully repaired and ready for action so I am looking forward to our new objectives, I've also contacted the Intelligence office and reported my findings on this progenitor stuff to them and they have dispatched a ship to investigate.

I confirm that this system is mostly clear. We have not seen any sign of Vaygr activity except a Kaghan cargo variant that exited hyperspace near the shipyard almost two days ago. We have replaced the shipyards hyperdrive and are prepared to escort it to the Xirsano system and safer waters. The hyperdrive is not working at 100% and it might take up to a day to arrive to Xirsano orbit.

Heavy patrol groups are being sent by the Admiralty so once we arrive to Xirsano we're orderless.

Regarding the Taiidani presence: it seems that the Star Centurion supplied them once a weak. The captain of the Centurion, who remains nameless, was heard commenting about the length of the supply run. This testimony from one of the shipyards lower ranking officer was backed up by several more of the shipyard's personnel, thus indicating that the Taiidani base is deeper in Vaygr territory. How deep remains to be seen. It could just be that the captain is exaggerating, or he could be telling the truth and the base is deep in the heavily defended territories.
Only time will tell.

I have recived confirmation by one of our Scout Carriers that several Imperial capital ships are present in the area and may be positioning for a direct attack of out fleet. At least one Taiidan configured Al'mou'akir class hull, three older Qwaar-Jet class heavy cruisers, several Destroyers of various class, and likely a significant escort wing of firgates and strikecraft which are masked by ECM and the system's dust clouds.

We'll need to remain vigialnt and assume all Taiidani ships are hostile and supporting the Vaygr. However, we need to descreetely determine what the Imperials are doing in the area. Admaral Ko'malak belives they are in the area as 'collateral' should the Vaygr fleet and command structure collapse or be desrtoyed, do not engage without permission unless attacked firse. You are clear to deploy stealth probes and communication interceptors to eavesdrop on the Imperial fleet.

We engaged a small recon picked of completely normal vaygr ships earlier, they had standard weapons and nothing special about their performance at all, the first wave of fighters hit our lead ships head on and launched their missiles, our fighters, which were also completely standard and normal engaged them right as they hit our capital ship line. Luckily none of our ships were seriously damaged.

The HGN Jillar DD-98 was they only ship to actually take a damaging blow. A Vaygr standard bomber hit it with a standard missile and it damaged one of the normal kenetic weapon turrets on the top side, disabling it. Other than that our fighter wing is at 95% strength, which is optimal and good for any future attacks from standard non-irregular enemy forces..

Here is a list of enemy forces engaged.

x5 Standard Strike fighter wing
x3 Standard Bomber wing

We never had a chance to find their launch point and they didn't have any aerodynamic attachments so they had to be space launched, All hiigaran admirals should be on alert for any regular standard carrier group(s).

All information regarding that asteroid base has been erased from our standard banks due to the top-level information act of two years ago. And they assured me not to ever mention anything concerning anything not standard ever again so my appologies for before... speculation leads to fear..

OOC: Yes, Hiigaran high end officers should expect the unexpected and always keep an open mind, but also they shouldn't trust everything the Vaygr say. I didn't mind the beast rumor, I didn't mind the Keeper replica. Everything was good until you mention that ship with inertialess drive ship not of prog. origin. And Taiidani involvement is enough to add plot depth. Again it's nothing personal and as Iron said Progenitor ships are good in small quantities.

The Shipyard escort took longer than expected due to malfunctions on the improvised hyperdrive, but we managed to get the shipyard to friendly space without much problems and hostile encounters.

We are now repairing and resupplying. We are ready to reinforce your position in the New Colorado system and will be arriving later today.

The Taiidani presence in the system is most disturbing indeed. It also seems that the Shipyard that left the Nord Kavagrad system was heading for New Colorado. If this is correct then we need all forces that can be spared to clean that system. We could alway advance trough Nord Kavagrad, but that will leave our supply routes and shipyard positions opened to attack, so clearing the system is top priority.

OOC: Do realise Seraphim, that this is an RP, not a Boardwar. Uberships, Beast infections, random alien races, and that sort of crap may exist within the HW2-PDS universe, but are not relavent in this regard. I know from personal experiance that adding these things when there's no justification for such tends to send the storyline into a dead end plothole and ruin the RP.

If you want a plot twist, something more plausable or relavent like political intrigue, internal covert operations, and other stuff within the paramaters of the RP, a Hiigaran offensive against Taiidan backed Vaygr insurgents.

Admaral Nabaal, I will be moving your fleet to the far 'left' of mine, with admaral Donitere in the center and me on the far 'right'.

The Turanic Raiders have agreed to a truce and will not attack any HN or Civilian forces so long as we permit their future presance in the system. They will also provide some forward support against the Vaygr including recon. Do not assume this is out of charity, the Raiders know that if they do not take sides, they will be crushed between out advances, and they see us as the lesser of two evils because 1: We're winning, and 2: The Vaygr are likely to wipe them out so they can gradually strip mine the system without interruption.

What the Turanics fate is after we're done here is ywt to be determined and is for the Nalthorans (who technhically lay claim to the system) to decide.

During your advance, you have one important task. The Raiders layed a field of shock mines near a tight cluster of crystalline asteroids they belived the Vaygr would try to harvest. However, the Vaygr }{4X0red the Mines and changed their IFF codes so they could harvest the patch. They have yet to do so, giving us an estimated million and a half RUs worth of materiels.

I want you to stop on your way to your transit point and clear the mines by whatever means you see fit. However, the crystals are highly unstable and could detonate if one of the mines were to hit them. And the Mines are still active and they will attack any unnatural object without a proper IFF.

The Mines are either Type-16 Magnetically Tracking, omni targeting, Chemical Explosive impact detonating seeker mines, or Type-35 Proximity Detonating, submunition dispenser mines. These do not have highly sophisitcated targeting systems and therefore cannot be shut down remotely, so you'll have to send something or some one out to pull the detonators.

Their targeting systems are highly outdated, and cannot target small manuvering objects like Powered Armor, Engineering Bots, or Grappler Probes. Their targeting systems can be confused by ECM and a Linebacker friate's ECM suite should be able to shut them down.

However you do it, do not take unnessicary risks with those under your command or the valuble asteroids. Once they are cleared, the HN Depoe Bay and a large Combat Logistics and transport unit will harvest the Crystals and send them back to our forward shipyard. You will then move to and secure your assigned position and await further orders.

OOC: Wow, You do realise by me adding speculation about Taiidan involvement in the possibility of advanced weaponry or even just military additions that falls firmly under the whole "Political intrigue" and so fourth. I never said they HAD a ship, I merely said that it could be possible, and that the taiidan having come in contact with that ship in the past should be considered a serious threat at this time... I read and re-read the post over and over and it still looks the same, just assumptions to further-along the whole taiidan could be behind some serious doings here....

Do realise Iron that I am not planning a board war, nor a plot hole ending in this.. I have done nothing wrong in regards to adding things unrealistic.. you mentioned the archangel, not me.. you mentioned Progenitor and highly advanced weapons onboard ships, not me.. you mentioned beast doctrine, not me.. Sure, the Progenitor Keeper rebuild is a clever addition and only ADDS to the stuff you mentioned far before. and it wasnt even that bad! it was a poorly made replica of a currently known predator. Man, I feel like yall are just shitting all over me here, I dont get why.. and the further notion that you with your last post more or less just left me out even furthers my previous notion.

Sure, yall will just reply with a dont like it get out kinda tone and Ive come to expect that from some of you, you know who you are. But damnit grow a pair and get over yourself and learn to read things for how they are and not what you WANT them to be...

OOC: Seraphim, if this is how you will behave over an issue as simple as this, then your presance in this RP is not justified. You joined this RP of your own will, and feel free to leave should you not agree with the existing storyline. However, the rest of us are enjoying the RP as is, and if you wish to play along with us, then you abide by the RP's peramiters. If not, then feel free to leave.

If you still want to argue, you will take up the issue directly with me, in PMs.

come on, seraphim, dont leave. i understand what youre saying, and i also understand what komo and iron are saying. this rp is fun, and with the 4 of us regular contributors (if i miscounted, i apologize) it makes it that much better.

this is a petty reason to leave an rp on bad terms. instead, how about this:

the rumor about the ubership was spread by vaygr soldiers who heard it from their superiors as a boost of moral. the vaygr were not lying, in a sense, because the common vaygr genuinely believes it; but it simply is not true. since the vaygr did not seem to be lying it is sensible that seraphim would at least mention this, no matter how small the possibility, as it could be important. the truth of the matter is, however, that there is no ubership, it was just a ruse, one not to fool the HN but the common vaygr soldiery.

this tells us a little bit about how the vaygr are reacting to our advance. they have resorted to wild lies about their tactical situation in order to keep moral up. in addition, it demonstrates the cognitive simplicity of the lower ranking vaygr military, at least in this area. this is good intelligence and we will certainly be able to use the psychological status of the vaygr against them

is this explanation agreeable to everyone? if not, then disregard it, but i hope it helps us get back to our kick-ass rping.

Fleet Admiral Jacyok Serah Donitere

Mission: hold position, arm Center

Admiral, I can finally say, with certainty, that my AO is completely clear of Vaygr forces. The mop up was a long and frustrating process, but it is complete. The details are as follows:

The Vaygr in my AO were not operating in strength and did not attack my forces in a pitched battle once. Instead, they adopted strike-and-fade tactics against any patrols they came across. After nearly losing a Bloodhound frigate out on patrol to a Vaygr ambush, I began to beef up my patrols. This helped limit the damage done, and the frequency of attacks, but made it more difficult to patrol the large area I was assigned.

In addition to this, the other difficulty was the dustclouds. In some cases, the clouds were so dense that visibility could be measures in meters, and sensors were all but useless. In this regard, the Raiders were invaluable. After they stopped fighting us and began helping us, the going was much smoother. To clear out the dustclouds, I was forces to surround the cloud, then send ships into it to destroy or drive out the Vaygr hiding in them. With the Raiders' help I was able to accomplish this with no casualties and minimal damage done to my ships.

While this stroke of good fortune is welcome, it feels to me as a calm before the storm. Judging from the composition of the Vaygr forces we engaged so far, mostly strikecraft and a few frigates, it seems that the main Vaygr fleet has indeed pulled back to better positions. No carriers were engaged, or even spotted, which is strange considering the number of fighters I encountered. I'm sure the Vaygr I encountered were simply there to tie up my much larger force to give their main fleet time to organize and deploy.

I would like to request, then, permission to advance further in-system. I would like to make contact with the Vaygr fleet and establish a frontline, so they can be pinned in position and rendered unable to respond to any other threats along their line. This will keep them from reinforcing their 'left' and 'right' flanks, giving you and Admiral Nabaal more freedom to take them.

An additional to this report is a warning to be wary of the Raiders. While they have helped us greatly, I have instituted a strict security policy when interaction with and information from the Raiders is required. If you will recall the strange incident I mentioned with the fully intact 'Vomiting Valorie' but the absent crew. It seems that the VV was actually disabled by the Vaygr in an ambush and its crew taken away. There is strong evidence to suggest that the Vaygr were actually planning on putting their own crew on board, probably with orders to feed us incorrect information, or engage in some sabotage. It seems that the Raiders have been considering siding with us for some time, and this move was a sort of contingency plan. They were in the process of repairing the vessel and erasing evidence of the boarding when we arrived. The replacement crew was not yet in-system, and the Raider ship was abandoned. So, if you will, Admiral, please inform all other admirals to use caution when dealing with the Raiders.

I look forward to receiving your orders.

OOC: See how Ammianus can take plot elements that may not be agreed with and turn them to the ends of reason. In this capacity we can make things agreeable and not ruin the RP. People should know that when you start throwing normally Irrelavent elements, even those from the same universe, into something that they've only been mentioned in passing if at all, you end up with a random Fugue that becomes corny and unplayable.

Playing along these lines where you begin with an RP about George S Patton and start throwing everything into the creative blander and end up with Keith Olbermann and Bill O'reilly dueling with lightsabers on the Moon.

My forces still need to make thier way through the denser portians of the belt, and there are only a few clear passages safe enough to pass my Carriers through. This will inhibit my fleet's manuvering and abilities to engage in manuver warfare. However, the Vaygr have to abide by these same paramaters. With the Raiders' navcharts and our own sensor technology, we have a decided advantage in this.

We're setting up for a strategic 'Trident' manuver with me on the 'right', you in the center, and admaral Nabaal on the 'left'. Therefore, you are to advance into a cluster of abandoned asteroid mining bases. Until my and Nabaal's forces are in position you are to wait there until we prepare our co-ordinated attack.

Our target is a pair of Carrier groups, each with three Kaghan hulls and Cruisers and Frigates escorting. These units seem to be harvesting resources and awaiting the rest of their fleet. These units are positioned as such that we can easily flank and destroy if we co-ordinate properly.

This will also put us into a position to ambush the Vaygr heavies when they arrive, which will probably force a Vaygr retreat in New Colorado.

OOC: I never intended to leave, just FYI, my whole paragraph(s) I wrote were trying to justify the whole thing in the first place using it in pretty much the same way he did, and yet no one understood! I don't get it..

Man, I still feel like I got shat on, I really don't get where yall are coming from where I was wrong lol, like.. all I did was add some speculation, pretty much the same as Ammianus did, actually pretty much the exact same thing he did, and yet I get ass raped for it.. and he gets glory! what the fucking hell lol

Oh, and.. you did exactly what I thought you would iron.. let me make this as completely obvious as possible cause obviously we have a very big differance as to how we take things, This is what I said

"Sure, yall will just reply with a dont like it get out kinda tone and Ive come to expect that from some of you"
And this is what you said!
"Seraphim, if this is how you will behave over an issue as simple as this, then your presance in this RP is not justified"

I must be psychic!

Obviously my point of view will never be understood, and I really don't get why.. but what ever.. Like I said before though, I didn't have any intent on leaving because it was a petty thing that I attempted to explain through reason and in turn it turns into a 5 reply bash fest against me, with the exception being Ammianus who did exactly what I did and tried to add a bit of plot depth.. *sigh* I guess I'll never understand what the hell this whole bash me in the anus fest happened for.

Well, While my forces mindlessly move about the fields and streams here, I've come to the conclusion that the need for four admirals in this operation is most likely pointless, your strategies rely on three prong assaults all the time and you apparently have enough forces to move through the enemy. Praise hiigara brothers, I'll most likely be re-assigned to the northern frontier operation wild-card as they are in dire need of ships and personell.. If ofcourse the need arises for my presence it better be hasty before command changes their mind.
