I think that the Vagyr should have an Aux Carrier. With Sobani, they can build a Aux and I think that's the only other cap ship they can get. However, the IVF can build a shipyard, and start pouring out more carriers/destroyers/battleships. |

I think that comes form the different combat doctrines. The Soban special forces rely on low observability so most super capitals are out. The IVF group we get to play with are more of a combat bridgehead force, securing an area and then jumping a shipyard into a forward position.

Couple of thoughts about the Vayger. Witht eh Daughters of the Wind, could the attack range be for them be extended? At their fast pace, the DoTW missle attack doesn't begin until they are practically on top of the target. Which would be pretty cool, allowing most of the shots to get past PDS fire, but 95% of the attack misses. o.0 They can attack, end on, or facing the broadest section of a capital ship, most of it misses and sailes out into the black. The barrage fans out in a sort of > with the target nice in safe in the center. On a related thought, it would be so sweet, if the DOtW's fired those beautiful trailless missles, that some other vesseles. have ^_^ |

I would rather see them with 7 or 8 SRAM's myself. However, in the right circumstances you can do a lot of damage with the DoTW rocket attack. Try holding off until the enemy is disabled and then sending them in. And attack from the enemie's greatest cross section (i.e., you would attack a PoH directly from above, try targetting onto the heavy ion cannon subsystem). Edited by Unkn0wn on 02-10-2005 10:46 0wn3d

An SRAM is a Hiigaran-only weapons system, since I don't think the Vaygr have 1200mm thermonuclear shells. And there are new missiles now on Daughters of the Wind craft, worry not. A starlight sharpshot magical girl!
