ATTN: Fallen Winter Admaralty Date: 18/3/9620-GSY Subject: Vaygr Shipyard Detected Location: HGN 'Willamatte' CVH-68, interstellar space, outside Bastonagrad Priority alert, if STRATCOM hasn't informed you already, we have a confirmed ping on the Vaygr cityship at coordinates L-35, W72, H-45, on grid 943 about 4,975,000km away from my closest fleet. We also belive that the Vaygr DESRON is guarding the shipyard and most of thier forward units are retreating to the SY's position. Destruction of these Vaygr units is of top priority. The shipyard is hiding in the gravitational and RADAR shadow of a large particle cloud, therefore preventing Hyperspace translation. My forces are rallying and have encountered Vaygr units retreating toward the SY. We however, lack the capability to assault the shipyard alone. Any commanders in range must engage and assist in destroying this shipyard, and if we do this, the Vaygr forces in Bastonagrad will fall apart and we can finally move into the surrounding star systems. Nalthoran admaral Ko'malak and the 231st Strike group is already en route, and their heavy battleships and bombardment destroyers should help my fleet destroy the enemy DESRON, but the Vaygr still have several heavy gun ships escorting the shipyard. Destruction of this facility is of top priority, take it out before it escapes. -Rear Admaral I. {Double encryption parameters... compliance/failure} {failure=deletion sequence} {compliance=fwd: ciphyr453b} ... -A pre-recorded video feed compliments the text. A officer in dress uniform seems to be sitting infront of the recording device, holding a hand-held reciever. Blast and soot spots detract from his clothing, as the surrounding room looks equally as battered. Occasionaly a yellow-suited crewmember runs past.- From Jefet'ne Jestam to any Hiigaran Navy forces. -The feed seems to flicker before continuing- This action report is accompanied with video feed, due to the- -the audio stops as the feed continues- - tability of our current comunications. I have double-encrypted this message for further safety of the crew onboard. -The feed flicks again, inverts colours, then returns to normal orientation- While our escourting group accompantied the medical and food supplies to "Kamchatka" at time of last transmition, plus three days, twenty-two hours, twenty-three minutes, enemy contacts were spotted by our escourt fighter patrols. A signal was sent out three minutes after that, and fighter pilots were informed to make wider sweeps of the surrounding area around the convoy. All convoy members were alerted to this presence, and issued to batton down all supplies, and possibly prepare for contact. -the image flickers again, as his voice seems to warp for the next few seconds.- Scans were extended. -A yellow-claded crewmember leans over and says something into the officer's ear before pulling back, and running elsewhere- Additional silouetes were encountered, untill around one hour after the first contact, while flying past several dustclouds, Vagyr frigates were spotted just outside of the clouds, with engines fully operating in a direction to intercept ours. I ordered a full-turn to the convoy fleet, and ordered that all make an attempt to head for the unamed dustcloud across from where the frigates were spotted. Th- -interferance turns the visual into snow, and garbles both the written and audio text, untill returning to normal.- ed to turn all engines and retreat further into the cloud. Improvised hyperspace engines had been installed since the last drydock, two of the Avenger fighters were lost in the escape, one damaged with a lost wing. Only four out of the seven ships in the relief convoy made it, not into the hyperspace feild, but without being severely damaged, and scuttled after retrieving any salvageable supplies. -the image distorts again- Repairs have been ordered, and a bouy was dropped where the conflict occoured before retreat. The Dervish has sustained noteable damage, mainly to the aft section. -the screen flickers again- exact details have the attacking ships have been lost, as the databank went through a mild surge from some technical dificulties. Requesting any assistance or guidance that can be given. Jestam out. Edited by Sanu-Yasha on 01-08-2007 00:26 |

OOC: Sanu, I'd suggest you put a bit of spacing between paragraphs, it makes it more readable then if it's all blocked together. **IC** ATTN: Jefet'ne Jetsam Date: 18/3/9620 GSY Subject: Backup Priority: Foxtrot-India-2 Location: HGN Willamatte CVH-68 I have recived your message and data burst, however, most of the fleet is on the outside of the system and hunting the Shipyard. The closest backup would be Admaral Ko'malak, who I will scramble to assist. His force consists of several Xi'shon class Battleships and Bakotonyr class destroyers. They will relive your group and launch a local dragnet for the Vaygr ships that attacked you. However, I would request visual identification of the Agressors for identification and targeting/location data to relay to the Nalthoran DESRON. I'll need you to I.D. these ships and ensure they don't escape further into the system, and confirm weather or not they belong to that unknown clan. This also brings up another issue, an my force was going to rendezvous with Admaral Ko'malak's force to take on the vaygr DESRON guarding the Shipyard. Without his heavy gun ships, I'll be at a severe disadvantage. However, given time constraints, I'll have to engage, and I'll need another group to engage the cityship as I distract the DESRON. If that ship escapes, the operation will be jepordised and they could continue to hurt us in Bastonagrad. We cannot get bogged down in Bastonagrad searching for a frontline shipyard that can hide anywhere. Destruction of that ship is top priority. -Rear Admaral I. ***ATTN*** To:Any Hiigaran Forces. Date: 18/3/9620 GSY Subject: Requesting Support. Priority Alpha-Alpha-1 Location: HGNS Phoria, 'Arcadia class' *The image recieved in the flash burst is full of static, the image stops repeatedly. The man in the image, obviously a captain, appears to be surrounded by smoke.* This is Captain Fuller! This is the HGNS Phoria commanding a fleet of Hiigaran Support ships en-route to sector 8 near the build-up location for an assault on a vaygr world, we have no defences against the superior range of the vaygr Missile frigates and destroyers.. we have seven Ships and had four escourt frigates that were either destroyed or abandoned. *an explosion is heard in the back ground.* Please anyone respond! we have a EW frigate in one of our bays, we've had it active while running but they have visual locks.. we can't lose them! *Another explosion is heard, along with another man saying "they're locked! incoming missile!" Captain fuller is seen turning around for a second, "Launch countermeasures!"* Please, anyone.. please respond. -End of Transmission.- I am the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last... the beginning and your end.

OOC: Okay, FinalSeraphim, where'd you come from? We're all still held up in the outer Bastonagrad system hunting the enemy forward Shipyard and have yet to reach any Vaygr occupied planets. If you could explain your character, locaton, force compisition, etc in greater detail as has been done further back in the RP. |

(Well, Seeing as the initial Spacial Advance has commenced, wouldn't it be wise to have support fleets in reserve to keep our forces supplied, and ofcourse marine forces for any planets that the Navy captures? My character, Captain Fuller commands a 'Arcadia' Class Cruiser, the HGNS Phoria. along with Seven Regular Light armed Transport ships. They disembarked to keep the reserves full and prepared for frontline duty if needed. The seven transports are civilian ships, thus allowing a Captain to be in command of them. The Ships are quite a ways away from the frontline but as you know, Vaygr supply raids can be devastating to hiigaran forces by slowing down the flow of ammunition and spare parts to frontline combatants.. OOC: Most of the Vaygr fleet in Bastonagrad is either dead or in retreat to the Shipyard's position. Our fleet is currently laying siege to the shipyard and most of the Vaygr DESRON and advance strikecraft have to retreat to the cityship in order to intercept our assault. It is likely that the forces Sanu-Yasha and You have encountered would be retreating forward raiders that took targets of oppurtunity. There's also the fact that the only habitable planet in the system is Bastonagrad, and it's already full of over a million Hiigaran and Nalthoran troops, meaning that Ground based Vaygr forces are unlikely to be encountered until we get into Ezra Shanir and Brie'n. |

(then that is where they'd be heading.. The marines and personell would be used for either captured vessels or ofcourse any Upcoming planetary Invasions, Perhaps an idea for a mini Land RP? see?! the Extensions are limitless! But yes, The operation does make sense and I understand your concern, but please do realize that I based my introduction on true facts of what I've read on the rp to this point.. Supply forces would be prime targets for retreating vaygr forces.. buying their Shipyard time to retreat would obviously be a wise decision! so yeah, Please accept my entry into your rp?

OOC: Indeed, but I still need someone with a lot of junk in the trunk to engage the shipyard and it's escorts while I draw out the Vaygr DESRON. |

ATTN: Rear Admiral Watsas Date: 18/3/9620-GSY Subject: ETA Location: Deep Space, en route to Vaygr shipyard position Sir, I'm terribly sorry for my delay, we had some reactor problems with my flagship. It seems that the 'improved' drive system causes a strong energy feedback that the engineers haven't predicted. I informed the high command about this problems and they assured me they will fix the problem shortly, since the two new carriers haven't left drydock yet. We are currently going 120% drive power. We lost an Arbiter due to engine failure, but my taskforce along with elements of the Nalthoran Heavy Skirmish Group will be there in 4h and 4min HST. |

ATTN: Hiigaran Naval forces Date:19/3/9620 GSY Subject: Escape. Location: Asteroid belt, doing base repairs. ---Transmission recieved--- This is Captain Fuller of the HGNS Phoria.. We've taken some hits but managed to lose our aggressors for the time being. The EW frigate we had docked inside one of our transports was the key here, as well as flying towards a sun to create blindspots for the enemy, It looks like it worked. We have two seperate accounts as to what was attacking us but generally it boils down to three long range missile frigates and one maybe two destroyers. After the battle ended we concluded our damages and I'm sending back one of the civilian transports with wounded and such. Luckily my ship wasn't damaged very badly and my compliment of airforces were safely stored. (for sake of realism, a nimitz can carry 70+ planes..) I have a large number of heavy assault craft aboard, mostly for any assaults against hardline defences or planetary assault ect.. I currently have aboard Four flights of Heavy bombers, four flights of Space superiority fighters, and two flights of Interceptor Corvettes.. I personally believe that these forces should be alocated in any Upcoming assaults. We are currently en-route to the Re-supply point at the staging location. Fuller out. I am the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last... the beginning and your end.

ATTN: Capitan Fuller Date: 19/3/9620-GSY Subject: Force Disposition Location: HN Willamatte CVH-68, Interstellar Space, Bastonagrad System I am aware of your concern and have relayed your message to our rearlines forces, however our main forces are currently engaged with the Enemy shipyard and incapable of falling bact to your position. Currently, the only rear lines forces yet to be deployed to the front are Iyren Ko'malak's Skirmisher Group, Lady Katisha's carrier group, and Jefet'ne Jetsam's frigate lance. I'd suggest trying to rendezvous with Jetsam, as it will concentrate the Vaygr in an area where we should have local space superiority. Ko'malak is the closest and strongest allied fleet, with several Battleships and an entire DESRON at his disposal, so if both you and Jetsam can lure the Vaygr into a killzone, you should stand a better chance of sucessfully defeating the Vaygr rearguard. -Rear Admaral I. To: Hiigaran Naval command, Attn; Rear Admiral I.Watsas. Date: 19/3/9620-GSY Subject: Force Re-deployment Location: HGNS Phoria, Outlying Area, Bastonagrad System. I have recieved your message and sent the Transports and a majority of our escourt corvettes towards the area jetsam control zone, I believe at this point in time, the safest place for our front-line transports may be on the frontline. Atleast with them with our transports can act more like front line medical stations or however would be best advised. My cruiser is enroute to a secondary location near your own. My compliment of Starfighters and Bombers were allocated for more pressing tasks, The destruction of Fortifications and Fleet support and I believe this action is in accordance with my pre-determined mission objective. I personally have reviewed our objective concerning the areas shipyard. In my personal opinion, the force that attacked the transports would have a direct route into the bastonograd system at three locations that are close by, I am uploading those projected positions and I believe that their shipyard may be in that area, perhaps trying to leech off the Shipyards hyperspace moduals. One of my Fighter groups is armed with HM-231 Anti-Starship Cruise missiles and I believe alocating these in hitting the Shipyard while another force takes on its gaurds. Doing so may enable us to destroy/disable their engines and powerplant, rendering it either capturable or destroyable with ease. Keep in mind it is still possible that the vaygr raiding group is still out there but from hyperspace pings left by them as they retreated does lead to a force buildup towards the mentioned locations inside the system. My Ship and fighter forces are available for orders as it was my duty to be attached to the operation upon arrival.. -Captain R. Fuller, 199th FCG/32cd TFA Carrier Force, Hiigaran Naval section: A-6756-43 I am the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last... the beginning and your end.

ATTN: Rear Admiral Watsas Date: 19/3/9620-GSY Subject: Request for action Location: Driftwood, outer Bastonagrad system Admiral, as you know my fleet and I are currently adopting a defensive posture around Driftwood. You also know that the Vaygr forces in my AO have been either utterly routed or brutally destroyed by my boys. Currently all ships, including replacements for those lost in previous battles, are sitting idle watching empty vacuum for an enemy that has already been driven off. In plain Hiigaran, sir, we are sitting on our kw'anti twiddling our bi'awats. My boys are itching for a fight and I am requesting that elements of my fleet are allowed to participate in the assault on the pinned down Vaygr shipyard. I realize that Admiral Nabaal is currently en route to your position and is well equipped, with skill and warships, to take down the shipyard. Together, you certainly have overwhelming force. If I might suggest, then, that my forces, those not left behind to defend the Driftwood area, circle to the rear of the shipyard's position and act as the anvil to your hammer. It would be difficult to remain behind enemy lines with virtually no supply lines or support, but my boys are very good at stealth and it is possible that they might attain a favorable position without alerting the Vaygr. I have taken to liberty of preparing an assault force that is standing by to move into position at said location on your mark. Simply say the word, sir, and the Vaygr will be trapped. While the force I have set aside for this task is substantial, I have not abandoned positions around Driftwood and the remainder of my fleet left behind is surely enough to hold its vacuum. On another subject, I have heard very little from my IVF counterpart, Fleetmistress Sharai Katisha Mar'yan. Few reports or correspondence has come from her camp, which is not so unusual in normal circumstances, but considering our latest predicament, with the shipyard and the unknown clan, it leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth. I am keeping my eye on her, but I do not have the resources to watch her whole fleet as well as the frontline. I believe, now more than ever, that our IVF 'allies' are NOT here to help. -ADM. OOC: bump bump bump***IC*** ATTN: ADM Donitere Date: 19/3/9620-GSY Subject: Tasking Location: HN Willamatte CVH-68, Outside Bastonagrad We cannot wait for Admaral Nabaal, I've however derived an immediete plan of action. I will deploy my fast attack cruisers to draw out the DESRON and cause as much damage as possible, then I will draw them out and hit them with my Cruisers and Heavy Gun ships. I'd suggest you deploy whatever heavy capital ships you have between the DESRON and shipyard, and throw your carriers, strikecraft and fast attack ships at the Shipyard. If You can do this, the DESRON will be surrounded, and we can tag-team them into the ground. However, you'll need to keep pressure on the Shipyard and keep them from hyperspacing. Try and disable thier drives and hyperspace module with percision fighter assaults. Be warned however, the Vaygr will probably keep their carriers, strikecraft, and at least some of the DESRON in the area. We must attack ASAP. Move out as soon as you get this message. May the Martyrs of Kharak protect you, Watsas out. -Rear Admaral I. Watsas, 308th LCD/56th TSOG Joint Task Force, Hiigaran Navy, SN: 1337-4229 Edited by Ironwatsas on 06-08-2007 00:57 |

To:hiigaran naval command, Attn: Admiral I.Watsas. Date: 19/3/9620-GSY Subject: Suprising event. Location: HGNS Phoria, Outside bastonagrad. Admiral, After intense interrogation of numerous Officers from our most recent encounter, they.. or should I say he, devulged some information you may want. The shipyard, as of 19/3.. Is at the outer portion of the third world of this system, that corresponds with the telemetry I sent about hyperspace pings earlier.. I do still recommend caution, ofcourse and admiral such as yourself would be cautious but still.. it cannot be stressed enough. I would like to add that my carrier along with two Frigate stragglers that we've encountered are now within fighter/bomber striking distance of where the shipyard is supposed to be.. if there is to be any action I'd honestly like to get my pilots in the fight, they are quite good.. Their torpedoes are specifically designed to destroy engines so I can do quite a bit, perhaps even hit them before the main hiigaran strike force engages, maybe to put them in disarray? I look forward to hearing from you.. and hopefully the information provided makes an impact. -Captain R. Fuller, 199th FCG/32cd TFA Carrier Force, Hiigaran Naval section: A-6756-43 Edited by FinalSeraphim on 06-08-2007 05:38 I am the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last... the beginning and your end.

Fleet Admiral Jacyok Serah Donitere Location: outside Bastonagrad Date: 19/3/9620-GSY Mission: Engage and disable shipyard, cut off Vaygr DESRON from main shipyard force. Upon receiving your last message, my strike force moved out in the direction of the specified coordinates. I decided to take your suggestion and split my forces, strikecraft and carriers (for simplicity's sake designated 15.1) and my ships-of-the-line (15.2). 15.1 encountered light resistance when arriving in-system, a few strikecraft and frigates securing the DESRON's supply line. My bombers made short work of the frigates and drove the strikecraft off. About one standard hour after this skirmish, the shipyard and its escorts were in sensor range. It was moderately defended, 10x frigates, 2x Kagan class carriers, 2x heavy cruisers and an undetermined number of strikecraft. There have been brief and indecisive clashes with this group for most of the day. We have been fighting for position. These Vaygr seem to be content with leaving their shipyard wide open to attack in the attempt to draw my fighters toward it, thus leaving my carriers open to attack from the escorts. It has been a frustrating game of cat and mouse, but I believe we have been successful. The escorts have withdraw to defensive positions around the shipyard, which is unable to leave the system thanks to the ?Mar'tari,? the fleet carrier equipped with a grav-well currently on loan from the 8th Fleet. There is sure to be an encounter very soon, but my boys need rest from a long day of patrols and minor engagements. The operation will begin in just a few hours. Group 15.2 ?Anvil Force? as it is being informally referred to, is currently in position and awaiting orders. You have, at your disposal, 2x PoH, the ?Ferrum?(BCE-45) and the ?Pendragon? (BCE-31); 1x LiiHra, the ?Ah'nhara Drift? (CL-23); 3x Wolf, 2x Bloodhound and 4x Hydra frigates. They are all ready and eager to pounce on some Vaygr tail. Simply say the word, Admiral. -Fleet Admiral Jacyok Serah Donitere, 15th Fleet, HGNS, SN: 0921-4412 |

ATTN: Fleet Admaral Donitere Date: 20/3/9620-GSY Mission: Flank and Destroy forward Vaygr DESRON componants. Location: HN Willamatte CVH-68, Driftwood, Bastonagrad My force has engaged the forward elements of the Vaygr DESRON and a heavy Battleship. This force is primarily consisted of Al-Moudamer and Spahi class combatants and while we has some early setbacks, the enemy force has been completely destroyed. We should begin tightening the grip on the rest of the force. ***(15th Fleet Task Force, 5th 'Wilamatte' CVBG)*** TIME: 21:43 Local Time, 20/3/9620-GSY LOCATION: Unidentified Particle Cloud, Bastonagrad Outskirts TASKING: General Engagement FORCES ENGAGED: 1xPraetor CVH; HN Willamatte CVH-68, 1xImperitor CV; HN Sydney CV-21, 1xMajiirian BBH; HN Kelsaetiu BBH-06, 2xLiirHra CL; HN K'eir Valley CL-174, HN Champoeg CL-121, 1xArbiter CF; HN Praxis CF-89, 4xBloodhound FF; HN Alian FF-972, HN Goliad FF-508, HN Baal FF-797, HN Seraphim FF-900, 4xLothringen FFI; F-1207, F-1338, F-978, F-606, 1xWolf FKH; HN Elandil FKH-209, 1xHydra FG; FFG-1189, 1xLinebacker FJ; HN Eugene FJ-95, 1xNightengale AOE; HN Abrina Somtaaw AOE-516, 8xAvenger TH; 66th VFW, 1xAvenger Scout; part of 16th tactical Recon Wing, 18xLSF-III, 12xThunderbolt; All part of the 701st or 712th VBW, 3xLavi VKG, 10xResource Collector; 69th ComLog Batallion ENEMY FORCES: 1xKhalifa BB, 1xKaghan CV, 3xAl'Moudamer CF, 6xAnsaar FFG, 8xSpahi FF, 2xCommand Corvette, 6xI2h Attack Bomber, 6xResourcer, 1xSubasi FVR, 8xI3H TA, 3xShamshir-VG CASUALTIES: Elandil, Eugene, Goliad, and Alian KIA, Several LSFs destroyed, Several Frigates damaged. ENEMY CASUALTIES: All battle frigates, Destroyers, resourcers, And Bombers KIA. Enemy Battleship gutted but structurally intact. Enemy Kaghan Carrier Disabled, awaiting boarding, Subasi, I3H, and Shamshirs escaped TASK GROUP STATUS: Damaged Frigates under repair, capable of fighting, all undamaged re armed preparing for siege mission. A simple computer E440r caused the fleet's HSNAV to unsync, and the Willamatte and Sydney, plus two frigates and the Carrier's air group were well ahead of scedual. This could have been disasterous had we miscalculated the jump. After exiting Hyperspace and securing the area, we launched probes and scoutcraft. The probes were jammed and intercepted, but the Avenger Scout got a confirmed ping on the enemy fleet, which was jumbled together in a seemingly random formation, but still advancing. We launched an attack with our LSFs and Thunderbolts on the forward group, consisting of three enemy CFs and escorting bombers. While they managed to get some shots off, the Bombers broke up the Squadron by firing their Nuclear antiship missiles in proximity detonation mode. The Fighters were pulled back, and I decided that we couldn't wait any longer. Under heavy sensor jamming, I devided my fleet between the two LiirHras and the Willamatte. Task force IW.1 consisted of half my remaining LSFs, Lavis, two Bloodhounds, Wolf, and Linebreaker, plus one ofthe Liirhras. TF IW.2 was the other LH and two Bloodhounds, Lothringens, and Thunderbolt Bombers. IW.3 consisted of the Wilamatte, the rest of my superiority fighters, and an Arbiter Cruiser. IW.4, my other CV and resourcers, stood back and loitered behind incase our attack failed. TF's IW.1 and IW.2 went high 'above' and 'below' the enemy force, thus splitting their fire arc. This opened a fire sector for TF IW.3 to attack the enemy battleship with Combat Drones and DEWs. Several of my frigates were destroyed by the roving Kaiten drones fired by the Vaygr battleship and frigates. However, the rest of the fleet managed to kill off the enemy cruisers. It is actually fortunate that the enemy bombers wasted their ASMs on my fighters, as they tried to make a run on the Willamatte. Had they still had missiles, things may have been difficult, but without, the bombers were easy pickings for my escort fighters. At that point, the Kelsaetiu arrived, lending it's SBAs and DEWs to the fight. The fugue of Beams and Cannons picked the Vaygr Frigates apart, and fighter launched Nuclear rockets gutted the Vaygr Battleship. While it is still structurally intact, it's magizies appear to have detonated and it's hull depressurised. No lifesignes detected. While the Vaygr fleet was torn apart, the Kaghan CV tried to make it's way into battle. The Praxis jumped in behind the enemy Carrier, and with co-ordinated fire from the Kelsaetiu shot out the CV's drives. The surviving Shamshirs and Fighters then decided to retreat, hyperspacing likely into the Mar'tari's HS Jammer and will probably try to RV with the shipyard. Currently, we are undertaking SAR sweep and boarding the Enemy CV. The rest of the force is moving to intercept any counterattacks. Additional Data will be transmitted upon decoding of the Carrier's databanks. However, you (Donitere) are going to have to begin your attack directly on the Shipyard ASAP. Group 15.2 is hereby ordered to hyperspace 'behind' the shipyard and begin a pincers move. The Cityship should be destroyed or captured before the Vaygr can regroup. Hit them now while they're off balance. Watsas, out. -Rear Admaral I. Watsas, 308th LCD/56th TSOG Joint Task Force, Hiigaran Navy, SN: 1337-4229 |
