7.3.2 posting delayed until tomorrow morning (UT) due to Filefront being already too busy. The triikor will not be in, as it is a HW ship, far from HW2 and PDS standards. I'll post it here or in Tanis if people want to play with it. But don't complain, there will be a new ship to play with in 7.3.2. |

I would like to see it go up sometime today, partly because my next chance to see it will be next weekend and I'm eager to check out the new ship |

Could you tell us what do you plan to change in Campaign? Does it will be like: MS --> BBX, S'jet still go for her quest chasing Progenitor wreacks? or it will be: BBX assigned to protect the launch of MS (M01) and it's ressuply (M02) and her regroup with fleet at Sarum shipyard (M03) where MS and BBX set a RV point for retreating HGN fleet. You fight with Vaygrs at Sarum SY, some HGN ships jump in and jump out (strategic regrouping) some jump in to reinforce the defence. When you fight off Vaygrs, MS gets reinforcements (a Carrier and it's taskforce) and jump away, while you (BBX) participate with defence of Higgara system. Once you're pushed back into Higgara orbit (later missions) you fight with Vays and MS fleet jump in with Sajuuk (modified stock HW2 last mission) to finish the fight. I think that second option is more interesting than story with Keepers and ancients races (I mean you Betus - you suicide freak) everywhere. |

Small 7.3.x enquiry - the Scenario main menu list is fantastic but doesn't work: Ships start out on the wrong side and the M5 Cavalry map is the wrong one. Skirmish vs CPU selection works splendid albeit without nice interface. Could you check that out or direct me to an update? Thanks. |

Thanks for the feedback. Scenarios 3 to 5 contained only placeholder files. I wrote "WIP" anywhere about them but without much success ![]() 7.3.2 includes scenario 3 scripting is now finished (subject to community feedback) and also incorporates Mostly_harmless' scenario as mission 6. Scenario 4 and 5 scripts are 80% done - read I'm taking ages to finalise Mostly_harmless' scripts :/ They will be available as an update as soon as humanly (fatherly?) possible. Re Skirmish vs CPU selection, if you refer to the duel selection screen, it is somewhat improved in 7.3.2. Tell me if that's enough or if I can modify something. |

Ah, that would settle it - I can't wait to see all the scenarios completed and myself modding the missions and ships themselves for Enhanced First Era in the coming weeks. Should be splendid. |

How do you bypass the Big File? I don't know how to do this. Can someone tell me how to start Homeworld 2 with the command line -overrideBigFile? Please. |

add this to the end of your shortcut path: -mod [insert the file name of what .big file you want to run.] for example, if you want to run pds v11, place the appropriate .big file in your data folder, right click your desktop shortcut and go to properties. then make the "target" read: "C:\Program Files\Sierra\Homeworld2\Bin\Release\Homeworld2.exe" -mod PDSv11beta3.big for tfs: "C:\Program Files\Sierra\Homeworld2\Bin\Release\Homeworld2.exe" -mod TFSv2.4.big etc. the exact paths may be different on your computer. Please. In the target of you shortcut, quote the location of your HW2.exe and put -overrideBigFile after it (with no quotations and case sensitive). For example, my shortcut to PDS v732: "C:\Program Files\Sierra\Homeworld2\Bin\Release\Homeworld2.exe" -overrideBigFile |

You may want to post something in the shout box to get noticed, or, if you haven't read throgh the 15 pages here already, go through and try each one. What didn't work for one person may actually work for you. |
