Baaad Vala. Anyways, I've settled on a "CHV" designation for the QJE. Stands for "cruiser, heavy, carrier". She does have a relatively large and well protected ventral hangar bay. I'll implement the full point defense grid later tonight, finalise the missile loadout and hopefully have a beta version out by this week. |

How many squads of fighters will she carry in all? How does her maneuverability stand up against the HGN's LiirHra? and would the out come of a PoH vs. QJE be decisive for the QJE? Oh and one other thing how will the QJE stand up against the Battlestar? Now, to see which ones are answered ![]() Ty for any answers. "No expantion without equilibrium.

Well I replied here last night with a rather large post, but alas i sent a private message before posting the reply and rather cleverly lost the entire post. I suspect that the QJE would in a direct confrontation with a POH class ship would lose my a narrow margin, The Prince is a battleship class BS traditionally being focused on armour and firepower, despite being outdated in the present operating environment its still very capable against its smaller rivals. The Al Mou'Akar is a battle cruiser / carrier designation, traditionally such designations focused on bringing BS class firepower into a battle, but focused on speed and agility at expense of armour. I suspect the Al Mou'Akar similar battlefield firepower influence of the hand of winter/sorceress III coupled with greater armour, and agility/speed somewhere between a the sorceress and the Vaygr DDG A clever commander would never let a direct confrontation take place with a battleship and a heavy cruiser, the heavy cruiser takes advantage of its speed and places itself where the battleships are not . . . or in a fire support position. The Battlestar when fully gunned would lay waste to a cruiser sized ship if it could ever catch it . . . but in its current state it has no CIWS at all. . . . i don?t expect to see the BBX in operation till the current rung of ships are taken care off the BBX has a lower priority atm as its more of a 'hero' ship so to speak I just had a chat to Tel, seems the Liir Hra is being phased out with the new replacement being the CLX as seen in the header graphic up there, I do hope the QJE can dock corvettes, then my QJE CTA wolf packs will be wandering around independently and i can at least pretend that I?m playing as the taiidan ![]() I now thoroughly expect to get schooled in military facts should anything i have said been incorrect ![]() He whoms hand pimps what is . . .

Model is now 100% operational. Weapons outfit 75% complete. Lithium ion cannons successfully tested despite some minor fire control software issues. |

As I stated in our chat yesterday, battery guns, battery guns. XD Lithium ion beams sound like they're more powerful than hydrogen ion pulses (heavier element) but might fire a bit slower, and have a bit less range. Off-topic, but my Sajuuk v 2x Deliverance duel lost, because the Sajuuk has too much health. |

That is a monster ship. In fact, it has the same design as the Taiidan BC at the kushan war. cant wait to control this beast ![]() |

Exactly - this ship was developed under the name "Qwaar-Jet Evolved". Qwaar-Jet was the name of the Taiidani Heavy Cruiser. |

As it stands right now the QJE is the only pure Generation 5 hull in-game, able to defeat anyone and anything in a brute force standing fight. You need to use maneuver and finesse against it - like matador and bull. The final implementation of the ship in v7 will be modified in such a way as to allow such tactics. |

Am I to assume this is why C/FDB is authorizing higher H-CL caps? |

Very pretty. I mean, hunky. Manly. No jowls. Mean. Tight, but athletic. Non-Troglodytic. Epicurean. Magnanimous, yet scary. A refined bad-ass. I would take one of those and shove it down my trousers in hopes that Security would miss me as I scuttled out of the capital ship store.... Not on sale, is it? |

Vagyr? Damn here I go searching the build menus in the Higaaran fleet... How did I miss that? ![]() Took the trouble to compile up the lot after pasting over the packages just to see that...and shoot with it! Edited by Homdax on 27-09-2005 14:50 |

The beta cruiser uses the ship designation "vgr_qwaarjet" which is a temporary one. The final version replaces the Titan class battleship and is less capable - i.e, the Deliverance will eat her in a standing fight due to tonnage and design superiority. (blatent reference to historical battleship comparisons, although tonnage vs capability is a moot point for some warfighting methods and ships in v7) Edited by TelQuessir on 29-09-2005 00:29 |

It's such a nice ship.... |

I understood it as that remaining Titan hulls would be upgraded to Al-Khalid class BBH's which would be capable of going toe to toe against the Deliverance.
