As Relic has the black "r" on yellow and Relic Forums a small HW-logo, could You come up with an icon to use on this site? Perhaps the letters "PDS" in orange or some with a green-black background? I received an attempt from ZenPrime http://www.pds.homeworldaccess.net/im...ds.ico.gif That is how it would look in the address bar as Favicon. Larger for reference:  As You see, the detail loss is big, and calls for a more simplistic solution, I think. I am no graph whiz...

We can use the larger verion in other contexts, but for favicon, yes it must be that small. |

Well I personally like the icon and i'm gonna use it as my new shortcut icon for launching PDS, for 16x16 version though I think the loss of detail will make that icon unusable
I feel like a one legged man in an ASS kickin' contest!

zenprime has thankfully agreed on making an optimized version. mrWHO: http://www.pds.homeworldaccess.net/im...ns/pds.ico "Save image as..." and put it, for example, in the HW2 directory. Then, when changing shortcut icon, browse to it. Edited by Homdax on 12-09-2005 17:21 |

OK...we have a simplified RED version up. Say what You think. This is that, but larger in -GIF format:  There is also one with white background available see link: www.pds.homeworldaccess.net/images/ic...-white.ico Everything seem to work well both in MSIE and Firefox, please notify me on any problems. The "PDS" portion of the logo is of course unreadable, as is to be expected at such low resolutions. However, the graphic could be distinctive enough by itself. Should the "PDS" text be taken out? |

Quote usualy make them myself but i dont have to now Issue bolded for emphasis. That may come up as "Oh, I have some slave to do it for me" to some people. Myself included.
