If the fireball can't be seen from orbit you obviously aren't trying hard enough.
There is no 'overkill' only 'open fire' and 'I need to reload'. -Schlock Mercenary |

Host of the Seraphim by Dead Can Dance has that 2001 epic feel to it |

Also Sprach Zarathustra IS an Epic Orchestral Piece. It's the bloody 2001: A Space Odyssey theme! ::advertisement:: |

Seriously, check out The Unsung War from Ace Combat 5. I agree with DeathReaperBob, it'll be perfect for the vid, trust me. On Limewire, search for 'The Unsung War' and click the one that says 'last battle soundtrack.' Just check it out. |

A good Classical piece that would work well in the video would Gustav Holst's MARS (the god of war) from the planets suite as it fits so well for a space battle.
I feel like a one legged man in an ASS kickin' contest!

It would be cool to use Adagio for Strings (choral version) for a movie one of these days. It'd be a great throwback to HW1. (basks in memories of first play-through of HW1 campaign). |

I've asked Methuselah to look at both the Taiidani and Kadeshi battle music, which are archaeic pieces in their own right. Adiago for Strings however, slows down the fast paced action of a PDS trailer, so that's probably a no-go. |

How about using something war related, like the main theme from platoon, or "the international" sung by the russian opera. Maybe something heavier, like Kisse's "I_Pledge_Allegiance_To_The_State_Of_Rock_&_Roll",ACDC's "TNT"or "Highway to hell". ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mercenaries never die. They just go to hell to regroup.

I would prefer something calm this time. Maybe a "Day After tomorrow" soundtrack(by Enya).

Now that I look at it, I think that, say, the TV version of the Japanese group "See-Saw"'s "Kimi Wa Boku Ni Niteiru ( きみ わ ぼく んい んいている, Your Appearance Resembles Mine)" is a good song. I'll send anyone the MP3 if you want it. EDIT: Scratch that. I can't find the TV version, it would have been about 2 minutes long. I've got more TV sized songs if anyone wants them... they're in Japanese but they're powerful. EDIT AGAIN: I will constantly update this topic with songs. XD Umm, Akatsuki no Kuruma あかつき んお くるま (Wheel of Destiny) is a good song as well, by FictionJunctionYUUKA. Edited by MarieHawke on 10-09-2005 21:11 |

I don't know the name of the song but it was classical opera annilation like music- I know thats a worthless description but anyone who's heard it will know what I mean. (I'll keep looking for the name) Either that or john powell is nice, (bourne Identity and supremecy soundtracks). Those would be great for a rollercoaster like feel if you flip thru shots really quick, then you could slow down and do something else. Thats my 2 cents anyways. ...If you want a vampirey like "I dunno what to do but I'm me and I'm about to KICK ASS" then "Ima Kono Shunkan ga Subete" イマ コノ シュンカン ガ スベテ (Now, This Moment is Everything) works. |

a very good orchestral war piece is Justice and Freedom from the Gundam SEED OST. Since it was written for fast pace robot destruction... im sure it would fit quite well with the intense combat feel of HW2 and PDS.... or not
