Well, you as good as I was when I started fluffwriting on PDS. However, I find it hard to belive that what amounts to a Psuedo-Corperate labor union would have any paramilitary forces aside from Surplus, Corperate Defence Escorts, Armored Freighters, and Mercenary Contractors. I also doubt that the HN would allow a nonmilitary entity within it's juristiction aside from historical societies and museums to possess ships like Carriers and Battlecruisers legally, perhaps ships like Callisto or Arcadia class combatants, or spaceborn 'Liberty Ship' analaogs, but not fleets of heavy gun ships. And yes, this should be moved to the Port of Nalthor. Other then that, you're off to a good start. The Trinity logo is also a good design, and mixes well with the SRI logo, despite being made in MSPaint, though if that's all you have available, I can understand. |

THe trinity logo i made in paint yes. Before i had photoshop. As you can tell SRI was photoshoped. Quote I also doubt that the HN would allow a nonmilitary entity within it's juristiction aside from historical societies and museums to possess ships like Carriers and Battlecruisers legally, Legally, no. Most units are scraped ships that were too damaged to be used in battle. So, they stole them from the scrap yard, and refitted them. Its more of "Two sides to the same coin" deal... Hiigara isn't an empire, it's formally known as Pax Hiigara or the Hiigaran Republic.

Pax is most famously known for the Pax Romana, a latin term that literally means the 'roman peace.' it was popularized by Augustus (sometimes called the Pax Augustus) and refers to a specific time during his reign. however, the Pax prenomen has since been used to describe unusually long periods of peace in a nation's history. so, while 'Pax' is most popularly known as belonging to an empire (specifically that of the Roman persuasion), it is not limited to empires. oh, also, this is indeed fiction, so i guess anything goes really. Pax means peace in latin, but perhaps it means 'the kick-ass government of' in hiigaran. hm, i rather like that, 'the kick-ass government of hiigara' |

pax romana pretty much means peace on roman terms...it was a way of providing peace for the roman empire, and said peace was favorable to the romans, not necessarily to everyone else..its kind of like saying as long as you do what rome says, we will be at peace with you |

Yes Pax means peace (I studied Latin for 2 years you know), but it usually refers to Peace by force. When no other nation can summon enough power to challenge the Pax and any rebelion is drowned in blood. However this is SF, and I really like the sound of 'Pax Hiigara' so I don't mind. And now back on topic. "Leviathan" Class Dreadnaught ?? So the SRI corporation produces replicas of Progenitor dreadnought. Interesting. |
