Tel, I know you identify with the Goa'uld, but upon re-reading C.S. Friedman's In Conquest Born, I would have to say you are most certainly Braxana. ICB was written in 1986, and its sequel, The Wilding, came out earlier this year with no further books intended to follow it. The author loves to explore the primal drives of humanity through science-fiction. She shows that many many eons in the future, human society could still be recognizable to us with all of its gaping flaws. ICB is an excellent book. Anyone reading this would like it -- go! Get! Are you implying that the government should crack down on organizations that are detrimental to the foundation of society? If so, then yes...McD was probably eradicated much more than 10,000 years ago. |
