I was wondering if i could make it so i could use a few PDS ships in regular hw2? if so, how? what the heck is this:  |

What i meant was i wanted to bring only certain ships from PDS into regular homeworld2, so while playing homeworld2 i could maybe build a tulwar or one of those avenger fighter squadrons. and i have one question: how would i do this?

you have to copy the ship file from the pds directory to the regular HW directory, also u have to copy all of the weapon and animation files that the ship uses.

Putting an AS ship into PDS will give you a similar result to putting a PDS ship into stock. As for AS ship into stock - your computer probably explodes due to collateral damage. |

Uh... "-chan" implies cutesey-ness. It is usually reserved for children, little siblings, and so-called "chibbies". And, actually, a Khopesh is quite fun in vanilla. |

And - oh god. Haro-chan. XD Er. Anyhow. How to input PDS ships into vanilla HW2, you ask? Delete all the other ships. That's the simpler method. Of course, the mere appearance of an HGN Arelian Defender against a maxed group of Vaygr standard BC sends the Vaygr ships running away. A starlight sharpshot magical girl!

C:\[insert location here]\Homeworld2\Data\ship and delete everything in there except for what you want. After that, delete everything but the Homeworld2\Data\Ship and Homeworld2\Data\Animatics folders.

including the englishspeech and music bigfiles? my homeworld2.big is in there too. just guessing, but those might be important.

Indeed, those should be the originals (all three) from the installation of the game itself. If you remove one of thsoe, you are in big trouble.  |

You do realize that... if you put PDS ships into stock HW2... stock HW2 ships would explode out of sheer embarrassment. Just a warning... ;D |

yeah, i put a battlestar :evil: into vanilla, and it defeated about 6 vaygr battlecruisers. with only a scout squad for backup. wow. (the scouts would possibly be described as "cannon fodder") i put in a lot of other ships, but the game quit because it couldnt find the animations or something.
