I presently have two conclusions regarding this issue: 1) The IP matter was resolved by Zatch acting as a neutral judge for the two mod teams to prevent a flame war 2) They are obviously unintelligent lifeforms. SRI is directly responsible for all hacking and/or spamming attacks on this website as well as all publicly known websites I participate on for leisure including youtube, blogspot and others. What is this all about? I've lurked around since like version 7 or 8 or something, only started getting active recently though, so I have no idea what this is about. He does sound pissed however. Though I must say, whatever he's on about, I'd probably pay more attention if he at least learned to type and spell... Haruhi is my God(dess).

Well, Dearest.. hehe, It seems this situation is drawing itself out anyway. You have, two sides, Technically the thing most long for, Good and Evil. There is no middle ground. I say down with them, scrap the crappy barge, and get rid of their stuff. In all honesty, The Vaygr wouldn't have PCA's anyhow, their only dreadnought was destroyed, so in all honesty, Give the hiigarans a POH with a single PCA, Get rid of coldstars worthless shit and sever this intensely Retarded Tie with obvious "lessers" in the eyes of gods. Unfortunately, Zatch allows PDS to use SRI material that was created during the course of their contribution here. DN and Barge fall into this category... in basic concept written on this public forum. The Barge used is actually not their crappy prototype at all. I handbuilt the thing from scratch myself. Same for the DN's full weapon configuration. Besides, that -is- Relic property, not SRI's. The original SRI work? It was so crappy I didnt even bother to use them. Or else I'd waste a week or two manually undoing royally skewed hardpoints that fire into ownship or point downwards where they are supposed to fire upwards etc. Thus, if I spent more than a hundred hours on these two ships to bring -their- concepts into reality, I get to keep them. I had a lengthy conversation with two SRI members regarding the spam attacks, only spam not hack, and I have managed to get SRI_Sajuuk to refrain from any attacks of any kind towards the *.hwaccess.net domain or any site hosted by it, including this. Main reason for this being other sites hosted by me that might suffer, hence bringing the wrath of at least a dozen well known modders upon SRI. Regardless I have no opinion about this "copyright" issue, but can only hope it will not lead to any unfortunate mishaps. Tel'Quessir has, to my knowledge, always been careful and giving credits and respecting other peoples work. Needless to say, having dealt with Tel for a couple of years now, I give him my vote of confidence, unless proven wrong. :master: king-o'da'bigfile

I doubt that is possible. Linked on the first page of this site are the modding guidlines established by Dyntheos. Some may want to discuss details, but as far as I am concerned we abide by them. Noodle. SRI, in their own way, do also contribute to the HW modding scene. Do not talk about them as they might talk about PDS and Tel. It will only make things worse. king-o'da'bigfile

Well I guess SRI just banned me from their forums because I said I liked the barge here, or something. Ah, well. They're just kids after all. But to clarify, if Tel actually constructed the barge himself, no one can contest him for ownership. And that's what I meant. |

the barge is awesome, although ill be damned if i have the first clue how to kill it. perhaps strike craft to attract the attention of the guns on it, and battlecruisers at max range to pound it with their ion cannons? or is it just best to bandbox everything and send it into the fray and hope for the best? anyone have any tactics that works for them? Run. That's my strategy. Ok. So I just looked at SRI's site. They are a bunch of children. They even made a video bashing PDS. Shall I run for shelter? Shall I ignore the hits? Water may be able to penetrate stone, but luckily I am composed of a much more flexible material. I do not have to fear the drops. Nether they hurt me nor do they hinder me. But do I waste more energy if I stay or if I run? May I assume that movement needs more effort than simple consistency? No rain lasts forever and when it ends, no matter after how much time, I shall stand where I stood. And be not exhausted at all. A good solution. |
