NAME: Seg Tambuur AGE: 33 WEIGHT: 81kg HEIGHT: 2.98m SPECIES: Hiigaran GENDER: male DATE OF BIRTH: June 22 9577gsy AFFILIATION: Hiigaran Navy, Tambuur Bounty Hunting OCCUPATION: Bounty Hunter/Mercenary SPOKEN LANGUAGES: Hiigaran, Taiidan, Kush PLACE OF BIRTH: Hiigara DESCRIPTION: Seg 'Ironwatsas' Tambuur-sa was born to the son of legendary bounty hunter Ifriit Tambuur. His early life is shrouded in mystery but what is known is his father, Haalii Tambuur was killed when Seg was 8 by an Imperial renagade named Safiir Kolliu. Seg was wrought with anger toward Safiir and vowed revenge. At 12 he enlisted in a Sobanii run martial arts school and accelled in hand to hand combat so much so, that he became a contestant in the Galacian Interstellar martial arts tournament which culmanated in a drawn out duel with Karian champion Mas'viir Nhiit'ka'ha. Seg bearly defeated Mas'viir and became the youngest person ever to win the ancient Chalias of Caafnah. At 19, Seg enlisted in the HGN as a bomber pilot. He created the nickname 'Ironwatsas' (as it was the most origional name he could think of) and was assigned the number four man in the 381st 'Starspirit' squadron recently assigned to the Coruc-Tel system. His unit particapated in several interdiction missions against Raiders and smugglers. His unit scored three kills on Raider ion array frigates during a raid on the Somtaaw carrier Phuur-Nan. Seg himself was'nt decorated for any of these engagenments, but he earned the respect of his squadmates during the various post mission bar brawls and scuffles. When the Vaygr invasion began, Seg's squadron was assigned to protect a Prince of Hiigara battlecriuser, the Ten Hammers from a vaygr infiltrator frigate unit. Seg managed to kill ten infiltrator pods and cripple one frigate with MRAMs. But when Seg's unit was ordered to engage the carrier launching the infiltrators, they were ambushed by two Shamshir corvettes from the elite Escadrilla Royale division. His squadron was wiped out and seg found himself fighting two Shamshirs in a Thunderbolt bomber with low ammo and fuel. By divine intervention or sheer luck, he managed to hit one of the corvettes with a plasma bomb, which spiraled into an asteroid. Unfortunately, Seg's bomber was torn to shreds by the remaining Shamshir, and he barely managed to escape. Seg was eventually rescued by Raiders and returned to Hiigara, but when he arrived, he was put on trial for the loss of the squadron. He was encarcerated in a military prison for six months but released when the Vaygr got to Hiigara. After his release, Seg went back to his traditional occupation, Bounty hunting. His first job was to apprehend none other than Safiir Kolliu, the man who killed has father. He proceded to the Aiowa System where Safiir was rumored to be hiding out. He was met by two of Safiir's bodyguards who attacked him with swords. Sporting his grandfather's daimond edged wristblades, Seg fought the bodyguards and with some difficulty, defeated them both. He then proceded to apprehend Safiir himself. But on his way, Seg stumbled across a seceret human genetics lab where many inhumane experaments were taking place including, Gene splicing, controlled mutation, cross species DNA transfer and even Beast/Human gene grafting. But when he reached the main lab, he discoverd that his father had suffered a much diffrent fate than initally indacated. Haali Tambuur now resided in a tank and was covered in a graft of red biological material and so horribly disfigured that he was almost unrecognisable. Haali said simply "I am glad you are here. I knew you would carry on the family leagacy. You have made me very proud." And with that, Haali Tambuur died. Seg was angered to the point of insanity and cut a bloody swath through the security guards and scientists until he reached the admin section. When Seg finally reached Safiir's office, he was suprised to encounter Safiir's daughter, Callia Kolliu. Callia pleaded with Seg to leave and not kill her father, but Seg was not detered in his rage. He drew his blades, but was stopped when Safiir appeared out of a back room. Seg immedietly pounced on Safiir and sent him flying into the wall. Callia rushed to his aid. She franticlly asked why Seg was after her father. Seg replied by tearing the metal curtian covering the observation window into the lab. Callia was horrified to see what her own father had done and immedietly turned on him. Safiir stated "Callia, if you betray me, you will recive no further leinence" Callia replied "All my life you have betrayed me. You killed my mother, ruined my career, and forcably sequestered me away from the pubic, but this..." she paused for a moment "this is unforgivible" Safiir replied "This is MY legacy and MY work. You have no right to antagonize me for progressing the civilised peoples of the galaxy. My cause is for the bet..." He was abrubtly cut off as Seg decappatated him. Having now seen her father's true colors, Callia followed Seg and the two of them escaped the facility. In the intervining years, Callia and Seg worked together on many occasions such as the Karelian uprising, Operation Lordsfire, The 'Naggarok Child' incedent, and the Solice crisis. Although there is still tension between the two, Seg and Callia get along well enough. Now working out of Seg's personal Valkiyre class heavy fighter/light transport, the two have made a name for themselves as respected bounty hunters. Although Seg has never been the same since that fateful day and will sometimes go into an uncontrollable rage in situations where survival is severely threatened. |
